MEET THE TEAM BEHIND The Bristol Comedy Festival 2026

The Bristol Comedy Festival is co-created by Burt Williamson, Harry Allmark, Jenny Rollason, Jacob Burley and Emma Phillimore.

Based in Bristol and working in the city’s stand-up scene, this bunch of comedy nerds spent their free time planning the festival.

What does it take to run a comedy festival? Co-organiser Jenny Rollason summed it up pretty well when she said:

“Between us, we’ve got years of experience on and off stage, from performing and running comedy nights, clubs, and festivals, to handling the really sexy side of comedy and events – admin, PR, and a lot of spreadsheets. …It’s mostly spreadsheets.”
