Thank you for raising £6,000 TAP For Bristol during the 2026 festival!

TAP for Bristol is a way of giving money to help solve homelessness in Bristol, ensuring that your donation goes directly to those that need it.

All money raised is divided equally between Caring in Bristol’s homelessness prevention work and grants to other organisations for specific projects. These projects provide emergency funding for those experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless.

In 2025 and 2026, you helped raise £6,000 for TAP For Bristol, and together we took another step towards solving homelessness in Bristol.

HOW WE SUPPORTed TAP for Bristol

The Bristol Comedy Festival 2025 and 2026 were supported by The Bristol Business Improvement District (BID) and fundraised for the BID’s TAP For Bristol initiative in aid of homelessness services across the city.

in 2026, ticket buyers using the festival’s official ticket platform had the option to make a donation to TAP For Bristol at the checkout, donation points were placed at venues throughout the festival, and calls-to-action were made on social media, the website, and in press releases and the printed programme.

We also brought back the King Street Takeover – a brilliant night where comics run between as many venues as possible on King Street putting on ‘donate-what-you-want’ shows, with all profits going to TAP For Bristol.
