the BRISTOL COMEDY festival brings the very best in comedy to Bristol and celebrates our city’s thriving, diverse, and ever-growing comedy scene.
WHAT IS THE BRISTOL COMEDY FESTIVAL?
Over the course of two weeks, we take over venues across the city centre (and beyond!) for a festival that has everything from intimate work-in-progress gigs in bars, to big names off the telly filling some of Bristol’s biggest and most iconic venues.
We’re also proud to support emerging talent through comedy competitions, open calls, and collaborations with local venues, giving new acts and local legends a chance to share the stage with household names.
Working in partnership with the Bristol Business Improvement District (BID), we’re bringing acts and audiences together in venues they might not have worked in or visited before, and raising money for TAP for Bristol.
